LoganLetter #63 (February 2009)

Greetings from our home church in Virginia! (pictured above)

We rejoice for the precious time that the Lord is giving us in the churches that support us in the ministry.  The Master is certainly blessing the meetings we are having during this four-month break from the field.  Cindy is recuperating very well now from the surgery on her feet.  She has gone from the bed to a walker, to limping, to walking now without much pain.  Our prayer is that she will be 100% better by the time we return to Romania in April if not sooner.  She says that she can sleep without pain now for the first time in over a year.  Praise the Lord!  Thank you so much for praying for her.

The work in Romania continues on by the grace of God, as Bro. Sutek shepherds things in my absence.  Another Bible study in a new village named Intorsura Buzaului (about 26 miles away) has already begun with excitement spreading there with one adult lady receiving Christ as her personal Saviour.  We thank God for this open door that came about through a family that drove from this town to visit our church in the city, and then very much desired people to hear the truth where they lived.  Pray that things might grow there in God’s will.

I am already having to plan the many things which need to be built and improved at the new property the Lord has given the church in Brasov.  About three builders from the USA in churches that support our ministry have offered to come over and help us with construction.  If you know of someone who would like to donate some time in this area, then please do not hesitate to contact me via email or phone (listed in the left margin of the letter) so that I may start to coordinate things.  The addition of bathrooms, nursery, Sunday school rooms, and a vestibule will most likely begin this year in late Spring or Summer, by God’s grace.

I also want to remind you all in this “down” time in the USA that our God is still the same!  In the midst of apostasy don’t change!  While others grow weary and lose heart, play the man for Jesus Christ.  If you lose what is material, then grow in things that are spiritual.  When you see morality and faithfulness fail around you, strengthen yourself and draw nigh unto God.  May the Lord find us all faithful til He comes.

“If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.   My love be with you all in Christ Jesus.”
