LoganLetter #62 (January 2009)

Dear Brethren,

I trust that this letter finds each of you in the perfect will of the Master.  We rejoice in our great God for all His mighty acts towards us this month.  Our family desires to sincerely thank each of you who have prayed for and sent notes to us regarding Cindy’s surgery.  She had the operation on both feet on January 6th.  The surgeon stated that all went well although he said that the cartilage in her joints was basically gone and that in the future she would probably need total joint replacement.  We are told that she should recover in several weeks and by the grace of God have many years without pain.  We are waiting and hoping that this will be the case.  While in the States, God is greatly blessing the meetings he has granted me the privilege to preach in.  Many of God’s people have surrendered to the missionfield and countless other decisions have been made because of the working of God’s Spirit.  How refreshing to see God work!

The work in Romania continues on unhindered by the grace of God and for His glory.  Above is a picture from our first service in our newly remodeled building on the property which the Lord has provided.  While I am in the USA many of our Bible Institute students are doing much of the preaching under the watchful care of Bro. Sutek.  They are doing great, and we are excited about how they will impact Romania in the future.  Pray for us as we spread the news out about our new location.  We are already starting to have      visitors, and it is our desire to see the building full and many souls saved.  Meanwhile the church braves the freezing cold to go on the streets and door to door each week.  Our  website has also been viewed by Romanians around the country and visitors have come to the church because of this outreach.  Bro. Adam continues to print tracts and Bibles.    Bro. Zander labours in Racos with the church there.  All is well!  We have no bad news to report or lists to send for what we need.  My only request of you is that YOU might work MORE for Jesus in 2009 than you did last year and that you would give and love Him MORE than you are now.  He deserves it!  The lights are fading in the world while the candle of all our lives burns thinner each day.  Let us not be as others but watch and be sober unto the coming of the Lord making our lives count for eternity!

I have a new contact telephone number while in the USA.  If you desire, then please make note of it.  Feel free to reach me at 256-654-5031 at any time.

It is a privilege to serve Jesus Christ!
